To offset the carbon consequences of running our studio Eisenman Associates is participating in AIGA’s CarbonCool program. Through the program, which is run through AIGA’s Center for Sustainable Design, we offset our studio’s electricity and heating consumption as well as our car and air travel. Eisenman Associates was honored with six awards at the 2008 International ARC Awards. The Maidenform Brands, Inc. 2007 Online Annual Report, “Shaping Our Future.” was awarded the Gold Award for Online Annuals.
The 2008 International ARC Awards held on September 17th were a big night for Eisenman Associates who took home a total of four awards and a nomination for Best-in-Class for online annuals. The Maidenform Brands, Inc. 2007 Annual Report, “Shaping Our Future” won the Gold for Online Annual Report and the Bronze for Cover/Photo Design. The PepsiCo 2006-2007 Sustainability Report, “Performance with Purpose”, was awarded Honors for Social and Public Responsibility Annual Report. And the AFC Enterprises Inc. 2007 Annual Report, “Bonafide”, was also awarded Honors for Online Annual Report.
In October 2007 Eisenman Associates proudly launched the redesign of UST Inc.’s website, ustinc.com. A $10 billion market cap company, UST Inc. manufactures and distributes various smokeless tobacco products as well as premium wines. We gave their website an elegant look with improved navigation and functionality. UST has been a long-time client of ours and we are very excited about the results of our most recent collaboration.
Eisenman Associates is proud to announce the launch of the Studio U website . Studio U, the “U Make It Place” is a new concept retail store, which encourages their customers to explore the artist within. With new exciting projects and in-store events happening regularly, we designed a website that features an innovative interactive calendar of events, a project gallery and a content management system that lets the Studio U team manage their own website text and images.
On January 4th Eisenman Associates launched the redesign of Valiant.com.au for the Valiant Furniture Hire, Australia’s leading office, residential, event and relocation furniture retailer. The redesign was a focused effort on improving the appearance and functionality of the site. The load time of the pages has been significantly decreased through web-standards compliant mark-up. The site helps Valiant solidify its role as the rental furniture leader in Australia.
Nina Eisenman presented at NIRI’s e-Learning Forum on Tuesday September 26th at 4:00 PM. She was joined by Felise Glantz-Kissell, VP of Investor Relations at Maidenform. The forum covered the NIRI 2006 Annual Report Survey Results and Nina and Felise spoke about Online Annual Report Trends. The archived Forum is available as a podcast on NIRI.org.
